  1. Embroidery stitch which is produced by tying threads in an hourglass-shape cluster.
  2. Decorative stitch created while pulling horizontal threads out of the fabric and tying cross-threads together in bunches.
  3. Decorative openwork in which the stitches are drawn criss-cross over an open seam.
